Katie has over 30 years’ experience in the NHS – her clinical background is in nursing and midwifery. She has worked in research, risk management and quality improvement. At the Oxford HIN she initially worked within the Oxford Patient Safety Collaborative where she led the national patient safety Acute Kidney Injury programme, including the award- winning care home Good Hydration! project. She also led the NHS Improvement national programme for maternity and neonatal, supporting trusts within the Oxford HIN region to improve safety using quality improvement methodology. In November 2020 Katie moved to support the Oxford HIN’s workforce theme.
