Professor Keith Channon

Keith was appointed Director of the Oxford Academic Health Partners in December 2019. He joined the Board in 2020. Keith is an Honorary Consultant Cardiologist at Oxford University Hospitals (OUH) and is Field Marshal Earl Alexander Professor of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Oxford. He directed the NIHR Oxford Biomedical Research Centre from 2010-18. Keith is Director of R&D for OUH. He co-directs Oxford’s British Heart Foundation Centre of Research Excellence and is a Fellow of the Academy of Medical Sciences.
