Grant funding support and partnerships

Developing healthcare products, conducting market research and ensuring regulatory compliance can be costly and time-consuming. The healthcare sector also demands robust evidence of efficacy, which can drive costs even higher. Our funding support service assists innovators and small to medium enterprises (SMEs) in identifying and applying for grants to support product development and evaluation. This includes opportunities from sources such as the Small Business Research Initiative (SBRI) Healthcare, the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR), the Health Foundation, and Innovate UK. 

Health Innovation Oxford and Thames Valley (HIOTV) is available to collaborate as a co-applicant and to provide support across multiple work packages. We can provide guidance on a variety of local and national funding opportunities that offer investment at all stages of product and service development. This includes feasibility and stakeholder studies, usability testing, health economics analysis, patient and public involvement and engagement (PPIE), sustainability assessments and more.
